Candy Bruzgulis is a South African-born Australian author, creative, and mother of two whose stories are inspired by the beauty, resilience, and wisdom found in nature and everyday life.

The Whispers of the Wild series grew from her own experiences navigating life's challenges, healing through difficult seasons, and supporting her children through moments of growth, change, and resilience.

What began as a desire to help her own children understand big feelings and life's complexities gently evolved into a collection of stories created to support children and families everywhere.

Through Nia Butterfly, Neo Lion Cub, Ms Sunbird, Mr Rhino and the many friends of Whispering Valley, Candy hopes to create meaningful conversations between children and the grown-ups who love them.

Born from love, challenge, and hope, her stories are a reminder that even when life feels uncertain, love, connection, and courage can help light the way forward.
